The texture was the real reason I couldn’t make these work. And the toe seam had to be positioned right or it was annoying, but that wasn’t hard to do. They do pill really easily, but that doesn’t matter to me since they’re inside the boot. Oh, and they came with absolutely no washing/drying instructions, and that information isn’t online anywhere either, nor did the company reply when I emailed them. I wore these for like a week and then ended up buying just normal knee socks instead. Since I’m wearing a boot in June and July in Virginia, sweat isn’t avoidable, which makes the smell issue a problem. Two, they made my foot/leg stink-not like stinky foot corn-chips smell, but just a faint odor of synthetic fabrics that don’t deal well with sweat (ever left a dry fit shirt in your gym bag? That). Maybe I’m just sensitive to that but I found it unpleasant after a while. One, there is a texture on the inside that is really uncomfortable on the skin when compressed under a boot. They’re delightfully cushy, but I had two major problems with them. I had minimal wait time at registration and was called to the pre-op area less than 10 minutes after registering. The anesthesiologist reviewed my chart one week prior to surgery and reached out to my physician regarding my medications the nurse followed up the following day to make sure I had been contacted by my physician and address any questions/concerns I had. She was very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. I received a call from the pre-op nurse one week prior to surgery. My experience was positive from the beginning to end.
